$ 78.00
Early 1950s Shirtwaist Barkcloth dress is hand dyed with a floral print and human figures on horseback. It’s part tropical and part equestrian. I love the box pleats in the skirt.
The dress is unlined and buttons down the front with round fabric covered buttons. The long sleeves are cuffed. And the shirtwaist neckline is V neck with a collar. Great dress!
Condition: Wearable but perhaps best for costuming or study. Permanent dye transfer under both arms. A few snags in the fabric. The bottom fabric button loop is frayed and weakened.
