Deep Peacock Emerald Green saturates the bodice and upper skirt of this sheer silk flowing 70's 80's maxi dress. The (rear) Keyhole bodice fits loos and features huge poet sleeves that fit tight and button at the wrists with tiny gathers at the band around the edge. The skirt has an elasticized waist for a flexible fit. The peacock green flows down to a wide spectrum of color at the bottom of the dress from royal purple to bright orange. A gold lame thread appears as subtle pinstripes throughout the fabric. The print and pattern at the bottom of the skirt is reminiscent of the beautiful silks you might find in India. Such a beautiful dress, the sleeves alone are not to be missed.
Designer Soo Young Lee
The dress is fully lined in black silk crepe with no zippers. It pulls on over the head and closes in the rear at the keyhole neckline with one covered button.
The dress comes with a matching sash that can be worn at the waist to cover the elastic. I would recommend putting only fabric at the waist as any belt would snag the delicate fabric.
