Like a watercolor painting of spring time flowers, this 1960s wrap front party dress is a breath of fresh air!
It is made with two layers; a full attached under-sip in a crepe fabric light aqua in color. Over this is a chiffon layer. The dress is not a true wrap, meaning it does not open up all the way. The bodice piece is fashioned with two long 'ties' that cross over and wrap over the underslip. The dress closes in the rear with a hidden nylon zipper.
The chiffon layer feels like a synthetic. I don't think it is silk. It has a crepe texture to it.
FINAL SALE * PLEASE SEE CONDITION* SHE IS A BIT OF A HOT MESS ON THE UNDER-SLIP AND A FEW PLACES IN THE OUTER CHIFFON!! STILL, A FINAL SALE, PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE OK WITH HER CONDITION ISSUES. I WOULD WEAR IT BUT I MIIGHT BE UNIQUE IN THAT WAY!
Condition: The underslip has several rust spots, see last few images. A tiny spot on the back left several inches below the shoulder area. Also a few tiny pinholes in the chiffon skirt. I tried to show these in several images both far away and close up (last 4 images are of the same spots). I had to hold the skirt up to the light to detect the pin holes but they are definitely there and I may have missed others in the busy print.
