This vintage late 1960s to mid 1970s dress is made out of stunning black cotton Venice / embroidered lace that resembles eyelet. The empire bodice is designed with a deep plunging neckline in front and open keyhole in the back, I love the thin lace straps that hook closed at the nape of the neck, so delicate and pretty.
The unlined bodice is sheer so you will need to add a bra of your own; to match the beige lining in the skirt and maintain the illusion affect of the rest of the dress, we recommend a nude bra.
The edges of the keyhole opening are cut to follow the wonderful scalloping edges of the lace, such exquisite details! The bottom edge of the dress and sleeve cuffs have a pretty scalloped border as well. The reinforced lace is quite substantial. The babydoll silhouette of the dress is cut to fit loosely around the waist and hips. It zips up the back with a nylon zipper .
Note length of dress, depending on your height, it could hit above your ankles, and we don't have a problem with that!
This listing is for the dress only, the rose gold seed bead necklace is sold separately, please email us if interested.
