Love this 1940s lilac and copper Metallic chevron striped gown with wide set shoulders and jumper-style straps in the back!
*Home Made
*Amazing colors of lilac, copper and steel blue
*Can be worn slightly off shoulder
*Back straps
*Full sweep skirt
The gown is homemade. It is unlined and snaps closed in the bodice with hidden snaps at the collar and behind the buttons plus closes in the back with a metal zipper. The fabric is a light weight crepe (silk maybe)? I purchased it from the daughter of the original owner, right out of her home.
It is highly likely that the dress will wrinkle during shipping and will need to be steamed before worn.
Condition: Excellent structurally. Note coppery discoloration around bottom portion of the gown, see last 4 images. These marks are visible when worn.

The gown is too big for my mannequin so it hangs very loose on her.
