Like a good vintage wine this 1920s black chiffon tabard flapper dress, beaded all around with clusters of purple grapes accented with green leaves and climbing on a golden vine. When the light hits the dress, the purple, green and gold beads shine with vibrancy. The grape design is mostly on the bodice, but take note of the skirt, you'll see a few grape clusters there as well, a detail I absolutely love.
Condition: A tiny hole in the front bodice. A few scattered pinholes in the upper rear bodice. A small tear near the bottom of the skirt. See last images. I would tighten up the beading and threads before wearing. Priced accordingly as I have not attempted any restoration work on this dress.
This listing is for the dress only, the necklace happens to match perfectly, please email me if interested in the necklace.
