Petit point embroidered flowers in rich autumnal tones adorn the front of this vintage 1920s navy blue silk satin flapper dress. Tiny satin covered buttons work their way along the 'placket' front, the are non-working buttons for decoration purposes only.
This dress has no closures, it slips on over the head. Typical of the 20s silhouette, this dress hangs straight from the shoulders with no curvaceous seaming.
Measurements:
Bust 41"
Waist 41"
Hips 45"
Sleeve Length 23"
Dress Length 41 1/2"
Condition: Is almost excellent, the fabric covering three of the buttons has worn away. To remedy this, you could 'borrow' some matching fabric from the underside of the hem to re-cover the buttons. Small seam repair needed under right armpit.
