Vintage silk pajamas embroidered with beautiful orange and yellow insects on the aqua part of the bodice and pants. The off-white cuffs feature a lovely floral motif in hues of purples and greens. The black trim outlining the jacket and hem of legs offers yet another bold contrast in color embellished with scrolling embroidery in jewel tones. A truly stunning set, wear them as separates!
Jacket has slight fading across the top of the shoulders. Some pulled threads in the blue silk where it meets the trim at the bottom. Some minor scattered pulled threads at the top of the shoulders.
Pants are in excellent condition, with rusty looking spotting on the off-white muslin waist band.
The jacket is lined in aqua silk jacquard and closes with 4 cloth frog closures. The pants are unlined and do not have any closures.
Label: Made in China expressly for Famous Barr Co, St. Louis. The label has become detached from the back of the lapel and is pinned in. I acquired it this way.
