Vibrant huge orange flowers and green leaves pop against the black background on this 1940s vintage party dress. Tulle trim at the neckline and hem.
Condition: Scuff mark near base of V on front bodice, see last image. Slight discoloration under the arms making the leaf print there more yellowish but does not stand out really due to the colors in the print. Tiny hole near bottom of skirt, see last image. Not pictured is a detached fabric sash/belt, some of this fabric could possibly be used to patch the small hole or wearing a black slip underneath would help to hide it as well. Purchased from the home of the original owner.
The dress is unlined and zips up the side with a metal zipper. I believe it's rayon, it has a silky feel but also a hint of crepe texture (that could just be my what my fingers are feeling as it's smoother than crepe).
Pictured here with a crinoline underneath, crinoline is not included with the dress.
