Whether it's the eye of a peacock or the eye of the feather, we leave the interpretation of the beadwork design on this 1920s true vintage deco dress up to the wearer. Cut with deep slits, one on each side and a V neckline in front and back, this 20s tabard dress is a true stunner.
Unlined and pulls on over the head with no closures. Beaded silk satin.
This listing is for the dress only and does not include the deco necklace.
Condition excellent and ready to wear, but there could be a few beads missing, nothing glaring. A tiny weakened area of the fabric under one arm, not a hole but just mentioning it, see last images. Excuse the wrinkles in the last images, I store this dress folded in tissue paper. I will do a light steaming before shipping but it will need to be steamed again after shipping.
Final Sale.
Measurements:
Bust 33" - 34" snug (no darts and no stretch, this is the smallest part of the dress in terms of size and fit.)
Waist 41" - 42" depending on where it lands on you
Hips 42" - 44"
Length in front 50"
Length in back 52" (scoops longer in back)
There's a 'thigh-high' 20" vertical slit on each side measuring up from the hem. Important to note these slits when planning your under-garments, see side view of dress to get an idea of how high the slits are cut, they are pretty 'daring'.
