Purchased directly from the woman who crocheted this amazing dress, it's pretty fabulous! Alternating rows of crochet in variegated light pink and darker pink. It is 'fitted' at the waist and has a narrow (at the hips) short skirt with a slight flare at the hem for an overall A-Line shape.
The dress is unlined and closes with 2 little buttons at the top of the halter in the rear and 3 little buttons at the small of the back. The thread feels more like cotton or blend, it's not wooly or scratchy.
An important note about fit, the 'V' of the halter sits very 'high' on the center chest near the collar bone. It is not plunging in anyway, be sure you are ok with this height here.
FINAL SALE * FINAL SALE * FINAL SALE, due to the delicate nature of the crochet, this dress cannot be exchanged or returned.
Condition, looks like it's never been worn. Because it is crocheted by hand, there are irregularities in the stitches. Tiny bit of yellowing at the waist.
Measurements:
XXS
Bust 28" when measured pit to pit across the dress. The mannequin bust measurement is 34" and it fits because of the backless design and stretch to the crochet.
Waist 24" - 25" (The waist is too small for the mannequin so I did not attempt to close the buttons)
Hips 28"
Bodice Length 16" (measurement taken from top of halter to waist)
Skirt Length 15" (measurement taken from waist to hem)
