Hot pink pinwheels are the print of this adorable 1950s home-made party dress. With a fitted sleeveless (with straps) bodice and gathered waist and full skirt. You will note that the tie front top is attached, actually sewn into the dress never to be separated from the rest of the dress. I show the construction of these pieces in the last few images.
The fabric is silk-like but possibly a nylon or synthetic. it's very soft. The dress is home-made and tailored beautifully by someone with sewing skills. It is fully lined with organza. The construction looks complicated the way the two pieces are sewn together. Both pieces zip up the rear with a metal zipper.
Condition is excellent and appears unworn.
