This 1970s vintage trapeze evening coat is styled with the most amazing beadwork. Substantial teardrop shape pearls and marquis cut faceted beads come together like pinwheels to form flowers, each one further accentuated with a bright clear rhinestone crystal in the center. Other smaller beads and sequins fall like petals throughout the body. The texture of the beadwork on the silk chiffon makes a wonderful 3D display, it is truly among the best beading I have seen...ever! The light coral color is like sherbet! I love the white pearls and bright crystals against the backdrop of the coral. One of my favorites!
This listing is for the coat only, the matching dress, sold separately, can be found by clicking here.
Condition is excellent, barely worn. I don't see bead loss but could have missed one or two.
With no closures, this coat / duster is made to be worn open giving the size and fit some flexibility.
