Beautiful birds and florals on this vintage 1920s pongee silk kimono robe. The wing span of the bird on the back of the shoulders is quite impressive. A beautiful piece of textile history I pulled from the home of the original owners...please see condition below and last few images.
Condition: Dye transfer throughout in front and back, faint but detectable, zoom in on images to see this. Tiny hole on the front left rib-cage area. Two/three tiny holes left back rib/below shoulder area. See last few images showing holes. Seam (not a hole) on front of left sleeve needs a few stitches.
FINAL SALE please make sure you're ok with condition and let me know if you have any questions. Priced with both condition and rare bird print in mind.
