Unstructured deco taupe silk (I believe) crepe jacket embroidered all over with yellow and slate blue-grey harlequin shapes.
Made to be worn open with no closures down the front, the jacket is unlined and snaps at the wrists. Could be home-made, with beautiful finishes and no fraying seams, see last few images of the jacket turned inside-out.
Note: this jacket is challenging to date, I pulled it out of a house filled with clothing dating to the Edwardian era thru the 40s and some later pieces. It might be home-made. I took it to my dry cleaner for fabric identification and they thought it was silk.
FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
Condition: Excellent with a few thread pulls and two tiny rusty spots on the yellow embroidery threads on the right sleeve, pretty clean overall.
I don't see pieces like this very often.
