1970s 80s Gold Purple Aqua Watercolor Desert Floral Print Bubble Skirt + Tie Front Blouse Set

Ah-mazing set! Beautiful desert cactus and floral print in rich tones of gold, aqua and purple. Very well made with a tie-front blouse and bubble skirt. Love this set!

The blouse has two large patch pockets, groovy buttons, shoulder pads and is made to tie in front with two 'tails' specifically for this purpose, see second to last image. The back is gathered below the shoulders and has smocking at the waist for a tiny bit of stretch. The sleeves are banded at the ends with no buttons or openings.

The first or upper tier of the skirt is styled like a bubble skirt, see last image. It has a waistband and closes with a zipper and button at the waistband. 

Both pieces are unlined and possibly homemade with no labels but very well done. The stitches in the waistband of the skirt are tightly done but don't seem professional which is why I see this as possibly homemade. The fabric is super soft, maybe a cotton blend but no labels to identify the material.

Condition is excellent.
