The bottom off-white hem of the skirt is actually a separate piece that can be completely detached and washed separately, in fact there is an area that is already coming undone (you can see pins in one of the photos).  There is a nickel sized hole in the skirt around the knee level near the embroidery on one side, perhaps a piece of fabric taken from the the very bottom of the skirt could be used as a patch.  Needs overall cleaning, we have not attempted to clean.
