1950's Satin Draping Bodice with Plunge V in back, Silk Chiffon Full Skirt Vintage Party Dress
Purchased from a fine estate in Connecticut inhabited by a family of women who loved the art of dress, this one will have heads turning when you enter the room. The satin bodice is fitted completely over with a separate ‘drape’ front featuring wider straps and one long pleat on either side that disappears into the bust line for a gentle fullness. At the back of the dress, the satin drapes and plunges to a dramatic ‘V’ for a wonderfully sexy look. From the flattering waistline flows a softly pleated silk chiffon skirt. The dress is fully lined and has a back metal zipper closure. If you dare to go with a statement color, this is the dress. The label inside reads, 'Pat Sandler for highlight'.

Condition: Excellent condition – Probably just worn to the one special occasion for which it was purchased. There is one small mark on the front right side of the cummerbund.
